Attended the premier international forum on sustainable island development, co-hosted with the Cabildo de Gran Canaria at the ExpoMelomeras conference centre in Maspalomas.

The summit convened island leaders, policymakers, researchers, and sustainability experts to advance dialogue on climate resilience, renewable energy transitions, ocean economy, and sustainable financing for island communities.

Key themes included moving from ambition to implementation, island-to-island knowledge exchange, and developing scalable solutions tailored to island contexts.

GITEX Africa 2026, Marrakech, Morocco

Participated in Africa's largest technology and startup event, bringing together over 55,000 tech professionals, 1,800 exhibitors, and startups from 130+ countries.

The event centred on how AI, digital sovereignty, and cross-border innovation can accelerate Africa's digital economy. Discussions spanned Cloud, IoT, Cybersecurity, Fintech, HealthTech, and Agritech, with a particular focus on how AI could contribute $1.2 trillion to Africa's economy by 2030.
